1. Original Work

Projects submitted to CodeSprint should be created specifically for the challenge.

Existing projects may be used as inspiration or as a starting point only where explicitly permitted, but participants should clearly disclose any pre-existing code, components, libraries, APIs, datasets, or other materials used.

2. Open Source

Projects must have a public GitHub repository and should include an appropriate open-source license.

3. Team Size

Teams may consist of 5 members.

All team members must be listed on the Devpost submission.

4. AI Tools

AI-assisted development tools are allowed. Participants remain responsible for their submissions and should comply with the terms of any tools, APIs, datasets, or third-party services they use.

5. Third-Party Tools & APIs

Participants may use publicly available libraries, frameworks, APIs, datasets, and development tools, subject to their respective licenses and terms.

6. Submission Deadline

All online project submissions must be completed by 15 November 2026.

Late submissions may not be considered for the final shortlist.

7. Final Pitch

Shortlisted finalists must be available for the offline final pitch in Dehradun on 22 November 2026.

8. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and professional environment throughout the event.

Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, threats, cheating, plagiarism, or malicious activity will not be tolerated.

9. Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of their projects and intellectual property, subject to the licenses and terms applicable to any third-party components they use.

10. Disqualification

Organizers reserve the right to disqualify submissions that violate the event rules, contain plagiarized work, misrepresent contributions, or violate applicable laws or third-party terms.
